Organize apps into folders automatically

Preview the arrangement

1. Open Settings › Layout › Organize….
2. Review the suggested folders and which apps belong in them.
3. Apply the arrangement when it looks right.
4. Use Command–Z if you want the old arrangement back.

What decides the folders

With Apple Intelligence enabled, CubbyPad uses your Mac’s own model to sort apps by purpose. Without it, the apps’ App Store categories provide the fallback. The folders are a starting point: move and rename them afterward to fit your own habits.

Other ways to tidy up

Right-click empty space to sort by name, date added, last opened, most used or icon color. Smart folders for Recently Installed, Not Opened Lately and Games update as your apps change. Manual folders keep the arrangement you made.
