A few steps to feeling at home.
- Open the downloaded DMG and drag CubbyPad to Applications.
- Open it from Applications. If macOS asks, click Done, then choose Open Anyway in System Settings › Privacy & Security.
- Confirm the first open, paste your key in Settings › License and choose Activate.
- Choose your opening shortcut, F4, a hot corner or the three-finger pinch.

CubbyPad requires macOS 26 Tahoe or later. Search, folders, layouts and the app grid work without Apple Intelligence. Task suggestions and on-device language-model features additionally need a Mac that supports Apple Intelligence with it enabled.
