Install CubbyPad on your Mac

Download the app, move it to Applications and approve the first launch. CubbyPad needs macOS 26 Tahoe or later and a paid license.

Before you start

Check your macOS version in Apple menu › About This Mac. CubbyPad requires macOS 26 or later. A license is required from the first open; there is no in-app trial. Apple Intelligence features additionally need a supported Mac with Apple Intelligence enabled.

Move it to Applications

  1. Download the CubbyPad DMG from the download page.
  2. Open the DMG and drag CubbyPad to Applications.
  3. Open CubbyPad from Applications. Keep it there so opening at login works correctly.

Approve the first open

  1. If macOS says “Apple could not verify CubbyPad”, click Done.
  2. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security and find the CubbyPad message.
  3. Choose Open Anyway and confirm with Open Anyway.
  4. Paste your license key in Settings › License and choose Activate.

Choose your first setup

The welcome walkthrough helps you choose how to open the grid. If your Mac still has a layout from the old Launchpad, CubbyPad can bring its pages and folders over. Revisit the welcome from Help › Welcome to CubbyPad.

Find the key in your receipt or order page, then activate it in Settings. Solo covers one Mac and Duo covers two.
