Start with a whole look
Default, Classic, iPad, Glass and Minimal set the appearance together. Try one, then change just the details you care about. Default gives you a way back, and Undo restores your previous settings.
Glass, wallpaper, color or a picture
Use a frosted view of your desktop, keep your wallpaper in focus, choose a color, or bring a picture of your own. Blur and dim controls help the icons stand out without losing the background.
Space that feels right
- Choose 4–12 columns and 3–8 rows, with smaller or larger icons.
- Keep app names visible, show them on hover, or hide them.
- Give a folder a color, emoji or symbol from its Customize menu.
- Use the full screen, leave the Dock visible, or open in a window.
- Choose zoom, fade or rise for the opening animation.
