# Change the system icon style used by CubbyPad

## Follow these steps

1. Open Settings › Grid and find Icon style.

1. Read the current style shown by CubbyPad.

1. Choose Change… to open the relevant system settings.

1. Review the system-wide effect before selecting a different style.

## What to expect

CubbyPad follows the style selected for the Mac. This control is a route to the macOS preference rather than a private override applied only inside one launcher folder.

CubbyPad’s Dot and Smoked icon packs are a different feature and affect the launcher itself. Decide whether you want a Mac-wide icon style or a CubbyPad-only pack before changing either setting.

## If the result is different

If the grid differs from your expectation, inspect both Icon style and Icon Pack. Return to Apps’ Own Icons when comparing the system’s artwork with a launcher pack. Keep labels visible until you recognize the changed icons comfortably.
