# Enable the Smoked icon pack

Choose Smoked under Grid › Icon Pack for silver artwork on dark glass in CubbyPad’s grid.

Last updated 26 October 2026

## Follow these steps

1. Open Settings › Grid › Icon Pack.

1. Choose Smoked.

1. Inspect its app coverage and preview.

1. Check the apps you open most often with labels visible.

## What to expect

The app grid takes on the Smoked style while the Dock and Finder retain their original app icons. Apps without dedicated pack artwork are rendered to fit the presentation.

The pack’s 81 dedicated app drawings do not cap the library size. A consistent silver palette can reduce original color cues, so readable names remain useful while learning it.

## If the result is different

If the icons blend into the backdrop, compare a less busy background or adjust dimming. If you wanted the Mac-wide Dark, Clear or Tinted style, use the separate Icon style control. Restore Apps’ Own Icons to compare the baseline.
