# Keep the Dock visible below the grid

Use Show the Dock in the full-screen Window settings to leave space for the Dock while CubbyPad is open.

Last updated 26 October 2026

## Follow these steps

1. Open Settings › Opening › Window.

1. Choose the full-screen presentation.

1. Enable Show the Dock when offered.

1. Open the grid and compare its lower edge with the visible Dock.

## What to expect

The full-screen grid can leave the Dock in view. This is different from the General setting that shows CubbyPad’s own icon in the Dock.

If the Dock hides itself in macOS, the grid covers its space anyway. The option follows that practical display condition rather than reserving an empty area for a Dock that is not showing.

## If the result is different

If the control is missing, check that Window Size is full screen. If the Dock still does not appear, review macOS’s auto-hide preference. Changing CubbyPad’s Dock-icon toggle will not change whether the system Dock is automatically hidden.
