# Find and run an Apple Shortcut

Type a Shortcut’s name into CubbyPad to run it from search, alongside application results.

## Follow these steps

1. Test the intended workflow in Apple’s Shortcuts app.

1. Give it a name you can distinguish from similar apps or workflows.

1. Search for that name in CubbyPad.

1. Choose the Shortcut result and respond to any input it legitimately requires.

## What to expect

The existing workflow runs through Shortcuts. CubbyPad supplies another entrance; it does not remove the actions’ input or permission requirements.

A workflow that needs a selected file, text or private data may still ask for that information. Keep the action sequence understandable before making it a frequently launched command.

## If the result is different

If the workflow stops, inspect it in Shortcuts and identify the action waiting for input. If search is ambiguous, use a clearer name. A Shortcut failure and an app-name matching problem should be diagnosed separately.
