# Find System Settings pages from CubbyPad

Search keywords such as wifi, dark mode or open anyway to reach the relevant macOS settings page.

Last updated 26 October 2026

## Follow these steps

1. Open CubbyPad and type the setting or its purpose.

1. Inspect the System Settings result.

1. Open the matching page.

1. Review the actual macOS control before making any change.

## What to expect

CubbyPad provides a route into the appropriate settings area. Opening the page is different from automatically changing the setting you searched for.

This helps when the visible setting lives several levels into the macOS sidebar. It does not mean every possible system control has a dedicated CubbyPad action or that permissions are granted by the search itself.

## If the result is different

If the keyword does not match, try the name shown in System Settings and open the page manually as a fallback. For an opening-shortcut conflict, inspect Keyboard Shortcuts › Spotlight specifically rather than expecting a generic search to resolve the assignment.
