# Bring a hidden app back to the grid

Use Settings › Hidden Apps to restore an app you previously removed from CubbyPad’s browsing pages.

Last updated 26 October 2026

## Follow these steps

1. Open CubbyPad Settings.

1. Choose Hidden Apps in the sidebar.

1. Find the intended application and restore its grid visibility.

1. Open the grid and search for it if you are unsure of its page.

## What to expect

The app can appear in the browsing arrangement again. No reinstall is required just because its launcher icon had been hidden.

An app absent from Hidden Apps may instead be missing from discovery, installed on an unavailable drive, or not installed at all. These conditions need different checks.

## If the result is different

Search for the app and confirm its existence in Finder. Inspect custom app folders and Apps on other drives if relevant. Check the active layout before assuming another layout’s hidden-app choice or page position must be identical.
