# Review open apps you have not used for a while

The Unused after setting controls which open apps CubbyPad offers for quitting after you have not brought them forward for that interval.

Last updated 26 October 2026

## Follow these steps

1. Open Settings › Grid › Memory.

1. Choose the intended Unused after interval.

1. Use the memory view to inspect offered running apps.

1. Save unfinished work before choosing an app to quit.

## What to expect

The view helps identify open software that may no longer need to run. It concerns running apps, not the months-based unused-installation list in Cleanup.

An app working in the background may remain useful even if its window has not been frontmost. Judge the task it is performing rather than accepting inactivity as proof it can stop.

## If the result is different

If the list differs from what you expected, inspect the interval and whether the app was recently brought forward. Do not use this setting as a substitute for checking a long export, upload or other background job before quitting it.
