# Launch every app in a folder

Use a folder’s Open All command to start its available apps together, such as the small group used for a work session.

Last updated 26 October 2026

## Follow these steps

1. Make a folder containing the apps you actually need together.

1. Right-click the folder and inspect Open All.

1. Run the command and allow the applications to start.

1. Save work before closing any apps you discover you did not need.

## What to expect

CubbyPad launches the folder’s available applications. This command does not by itself arrange their windows or choose every document they should open.

A small group is easier to manage than a folder containing all possible tools. Several apps starting together use resources together, so choose membership based on a real recurring session.

## If the result is different

If an app does not open, check whether it is installed and its source drive is connected. Test it individually. If you need a multi-step routine with inputs or document choices, an Apple Shortcut may be more appropriate than only Open All.
