# Move apps to another grid page

Hold a dragged app at the page edge, or use its Move to Page command, to change where it appears.

Last updated 26 October 2026

## Follow these steps

1. Enter arrangement mode and pick the app or group.

1. Drag toward the screen edge and hold until the next page appears.

1. Drop at the intended position.

1. For a direct menu route, inspect Move to Page in the app’s context menu.

## What to expect

The app appears on the destination page. Other apps remain installed normally; the action only edits the launcher arrangement.

Pages can also be navigated with Command-arrow keys or Command–[ and Command–]. The selected sideways or vertical orientation affects how a pointer move between pages feels.

## If the result is different

If a drag lands in a folder instead, undo and use a clearer destination or Move to Page. If the layout is crowded, inspect its row and column count. Check later pages before assuming an icon disappeared after a capacity change.
