# Check CubbyPad’s macOS requirements

CubbyPad requires macOS 26 Tahoe or later. Its grid, folders, regular search and layouts work without Apple Intelligence.

## Follow these steps

1. Choose Apple menu › About This Mac and read the macOS version.

1. Compare it with the requirement on the CubbyPad download page.

1. Check Apple Intelligence separately if task-based suggestions are important to you.

## What to expect

A compatible macOS installation can run the core launcher without enabling a language model. A paid license is still required from first open; compatibility does not create a trial or activate the app.

Apple Intelligence task suggestions and model-assisted organization need support for that feature and Apple Intelligence enabled. Voice search instead uses macOS speech recognition and its own permissions.

## If the result is different

If the installer or app reports an unsupported system, check the actual version rather than the Mac’s purchase year. Do not rename system files or use a different installer to bypass the requirement. Contact support with the version shown in About This Mac.
