# Recover a missing CubbyPad license key

Search the checkout email account for the Dodo Payments receipt before making another CubbyPad purchase.

## Follow these steps

1. Search the purchase inbox for CubbyPad or Dodo Payments.

1. Check spam and any other address you may have used at checkout.

1. Inspect the completed order page if it is still available.

1. Contact support from the purchase email if the key is still missing.

## What to expect

The original order can supply the key again without treating a lost message as a new purchase. Support can use the order reference to locate the transaction.

The receipt is separate from the app’s layout file. Restoring a grid backup does not recover an emailed key or create an activation.

## If the result is different

If you do not know the order number, explain the purchase context from the likely checkout address and provide only relevant details. Never send full card information or post a license key publicly. Avoid buying again just to recreate access to a receipt.
