# Navigate and arrange CubbyPad with the keyboard

Use arrows and Return for opening, Command-arrow for pages, and selection and movement keys for grid editing.

Last updated 26 October 2026

## Follow these steps

1. Open CubbyPad with its shortcut.

1. Use arrows to pick an icon and Return to open it.

1. Use Command-arrow or Command–[ and Command–] for pages.

1. Use Space to select and Option-arrow to move a picked icon when arranging.

## What to expect

Keyboard controls provide routes for app selection and arrangement without depending on a precise pointer drag. Command–R renames the picked item and Control–Command–N groups selected apps.

Escape backs out of the current interaction in stages, such as listening, editing a name, an open folder, search or arrangement mode. It does not always mean quitting the application.

## If the result is different

If a command affects another app, return focus to CubbyPad. If you intend to delete an app, read the separate confirmation after Command–Delete. Check the complete shortcuts page for the role of each combination before a large keyboard edit.
