# Make CubbyPad app icons larger or smaller

Adjust Icon size in Settings › Grid to change how large apps appear within their allocated grid positions.

Last updated 26 October 2026

## Follow these steps

1. Open Settings › Grid and find Appearance.

1. Change Icon size.

1. Check a main page and an open folder.

1. Adjust rows or columns separately if you need more space between positions.

## What to expect

Icons change size up to the amount that fits their place on the page. A dense grid can limit the visible size, so a higher setting may not grow every icon indefinitely.

This affects CubbyPad’s presentation. It does not resize the original application icon in Finder, alter display resolution or change the Dock’s icon-size preference.

## If the result is different

If icons still seem small, reduce page density and compare the available space. If labels are the difficult part, change Name size and visibility instead. Test with the display and viewing distance you normally use.
