# Fix a hot corner that performs two actions

Check both CubbyPad’s corner choice and macOS Hot Corners when moving into a corner opens an unexpected system view.

Last updated 26 October 2026

## Follow these steps

1. Open CubbyPad Settings › Opening and note the chosen corner.

1. Use Open Hot Corners… to inspect the macOS assignment.

1. Remove the conflicting system action or choose another CubbyPad corner.

1. Test by moving away and entering the corner again.

## What to expect

A single pointer movement should have a predictable result. Changing the assignment resolves the opening conflict without editing app folders or resetting the launcher.

A hot corner reacts to pointer movement on connected displays. A screen edge can also be involved in other macOS behavior, so test the actual desk setup rather than only one isolated display.

## If the result is different

If the grid opens on an unexpected screen, investigate Display › Open on separately. If the corner continues to trigger another utility, check that utility’s settings as well. Keep the keyboard shortcut working while comparing assignments.
