# Choose which page CubbyPad opens on

Use Each time it opens in Settings › Opening to choose the starting point within your app grid.

Last updated 26 October 2026

## Follow these steps

1. Open Settings › Opening.

1. Find Each time it opens and read Opens on.

1. Choose the desired starting behavior.

1. Visit a later page, close the grid, and reopen it to compare.

## What to expect

CubbyPad uses the selected page-position behavior on opening. It is separate from the Display card’s Open on control, which chooses a physical screen.

You can favor returning to your place or beginning again at the first page. A separate Start over after delay is available for modes that remember a position.

## If the result is different

If the grid returns to page one after being closed for a while, inspect Start over after rather than assuming the position was lost. Check which layout is active as well, because different arrangements can have different page contents.
