# Set your own picture behind CubbyPad

Choose Picture under Grid › Background, then select an image to use behind your app pages.

Last updated 26 October 2026

## Follow these steps

1. Open Settings › Grid › Background.

1. Select Picture.

1. Choose an image using the Picture control.

1. Inspect the page and adjust blur or dimming if the artwork competes with the app names.

## What to expect

CubbyPad uses the chosen picture for its background. Until you select one successfully, the grid stays on glass rather than displaying a nonexistent file.

The launcher copies the selected picture for its own use. Choose a source file that is currently readable, especially when it lives on a removable drive or is only a cloud placeholder.

## If the result is different

If the app says it could not copy the picture, choose a different readable local file. Check the background type if you expected the Mac’s current wallpaper instead. Avoid changing layout backups to repair an image-selection problem.
