# Schedule a layout for chosen days and hours

Choose a time condition in Show Automatically… to use a layout during a recurring part of your week.

Last updated 26 October 2026

## Follow these steps

1. Open the layout’s menu in Settings › Layout.

1. Choose Show Automatically… and the hours condition.

1. Set different start and end times and choose the intended days.

1. Save the rule and test the arrangement during and outside the interval.

## What to expect

The layout can follow the selected weekly interval. The day and time choices should match your actual routine rather than the name of the layout alone.

A schedule chooses organization, not app launch or notification behavior. A Focus Filter can be clearer when your work hours vary and you already start a Focus manually.

## If the result is different

If another layout wins, check a connected-display rule and an active CubbyPad Focus Filter. Read the saved rule’s summary to confirm the chosen days. Do not diagnose a clock or rule conflict by restoring unrelated backups.
