# Activate CubbyPad on this Mac

Paste the key from your order page or Dodo Payments receipt into Settings › License and choose Activate while online.

## Follow these steps

1. Find the license key in the completed order page or purchase email.

1. Open CubbyPad Settings › License.

1. Paste the key and choose Activate with an internet connection.

1. Check that this Mac is shown as activated before opening the grid.

## What to expect

A valid activation unlocks the app on an available seat in your plan. A downloaded installer alone does not create a license or start an in-app trial.

Solo permits one active Mac and Duo permits two. The feature set is the same; the number of simultaneous activations is the practical difference.

## If the result is different

If activation is rejected, read the exact status and check connectivity and available seats. If an old Mac occupies the last seat, deactivate it or contact support from the purchase email. Do not publish or email your full key when asking for help.
