# Remove CubbyPad while keeping your other Mac apps

CubbyPad’s grid is a view of installed applications. Uninstalling the launcher is separate from uninstalling the apps that appeared inside it.

## The grid is not the storage container for every app

Applications shown by CubbyPad retain their own installations. Removing the launcher does not mean every item in its pages is part of the CubbyPad app bundle. Keep that distinction clear before using a cleanup or Trash command on any selected application.

## Keep anything you may want for a return

Save a layout backup if you may reinstall later. Keep the purchase receipt and deactivate this Mac first when you need to free its seat for another Mac. Those are organizational and license decisions, separate from the app file you remove.

Turn off Open at login and quit CubbyPad before moving its own Applications copy to the Trash. Follow the dedicated uninstall guide for the full sequence.

## Choose saved-data removal separately

The launcher’s saved organization and optional iCloud data are separate from the app itself. Do not delete those locations casually if another Mac uses the synced arrangement or if you expect to reinstall with the same grid. An app removal does not require treating every saved file as unwanted.

## Check the intended outcome

1. Open another app through Finder or the Dock.

1. Confirm CubbyPad no longer starts automatically.

1. Retain the layout backup and receipt if needed.

1. Review the Trash before any later permanent deletion.

Installed app count describes your library. Current memory pressure depends on running work, so inspect active applications before choosing a cleanup action.
