# Write a CubbyPad support request that is easy to reproduce

Include the version, the action you tried, the expected result and what actually happened. Share only the details relevant to the problem.

## Start with the installed versions

Read CubbyPad’s version in Settings › General and the macOS version in About This Mac. Say whether the issue happens during installation, activation or ordinary use. Those are different stages with different checks.

## Give a short sequence with an observable result

Describe the action clearly: for example, which shortcut opened Spotlight, which app search returned no result, or which layout appeared after a Focus started. State what you expected and what you observed instead.

If the behavior involves a monitor, custom app folder or external disk, include that relevant condition. You do not need to send an unrelated full machine inventory to explain one missing app.

## Use a screenshot or recording thoughtfully

A short clip can show gesture timing or page movement that is hard to explain in text. Check the visible content before sending it and omit private project information. For purchase questions, use the purchase email and order reference rather than posting a full license key or card data.

## Keep a useful recovery point

1. Save a layout backup before a proposed broad reset.

1. Keep the exact error message.

1. Mention which basic checks you already tried.

1. Contact support through the site’s Contact page and keep the reproduction focused.
